KNOTLESS ACADEMY

Knotless Academy is a structured in-person braiding intensive designed for students who want more than a quick demonstration. This program follows the same organized curriculum as my online course, but with the added benefit of hands-on instruction, live corrections, and guided follow-up sessions. This is not a one-day class. Learning braiding techniques takes repetition, correction, and practice. Knotless Academy was created to provide students with the time and structure needed to truly improve their skills.

This group session is perfect for aspiring braiders who want to perfect their craft or Moms who want to learn how to care for their child(ren)’s hair.

Since this is a completely customized class you will practice on the skills you feel you need improvement on!

Though this is a group session I will be working with everyone, 1 on 1. Any & all questions or concerns are welcomed. I am here to help!

THIS IS NOT A ONE-DAY CLASS

Knotless Academy is a 2-session in-person braiding program designed to help students understand technique, improve consistency, and gain confidence through hands-on learning, guided practice, and follow-up.

The program consists of two (2) mandatory core sessions, with an optional polish session available for students who want additional refinement.

SESSION 1 – FOUNDATIONS & SETUP

This session focuses on building strong fundamentals and proper technique.

Topics Covered:

  • Pre-parting (learning different part sizes)

  • Brick layering parting technique

  • Clean parting

  • Pain & tension control

  • Feeding in hair (foundation method)

  • Materials & product knowledge
    (braiding hair, hair products, tools)

  • Proper posture while braiding

  • Sanitation, disinfection & Barbicide use

  • Knotless braid foundation practice

Homework (Required):

  • Practice assigned parting patterns

  • Practice knotless foundation on mannequin

SESSION 2 – TECHNIQUE POLISHING & CONTROL

This session focuses on improving consistency, neatness, and execution.

Topics Covered:

  • Review & correction of homework

  • Improved feeding-in control

  • Pain-free tension refinement

  • Knotless braid consistency

  • Boho knotless braid practice

  • Speed vs. quality balance

  • Live technique correction

Homework Completion Required
Students must complete homework to receive a Certificate of Completion.

OPTIONAL SESSION 3 – POLISH & REFINEMENT

This session is optional and recommended for students who want additional hands-on correction.

FINAL PAYMENT

The remaining balance of $300 is due at Session 1.

The optional polish session is offered after completion of Session 2.

If selected, payment for the polish session is due at Session 2.

The polish session is not included in the core program and requires a separate payment of $100.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

• Attendance is mandatory for all scheduled sessions
• This is a structured program, not a drop-in class
• Missing a session without an approved reschedule may result in forfeiture of continuation

RESCHEDULE POLICY

• One (1) reschedule permitted per student
• Reschedule requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance
• Missed sessions without notice cannot be rescheduled

REFUND POLICY

• All deposits and payments are non-refundable
• Refunds will only be issued if the program is canceled by the instructor
